●       India exported premium quality non-basmati varieties like Swarna Rice, Sella rice, Sonamasuri, Non-basmati, Basmati and Long grain non-basmati rice to other countries in which UAE was on the top.

●       India exports different varieties of non-basmati rice in the world. There are many Non-basmati Rice brands in India including India Gate Brand, Golden Sun Brand, Boom Boom Brand, Simba Brand, Cycle Brand.

●       India Gate is one of the top brands in India, whose export from India has recorded USD 7.74 million in 2017.

●       According to stats, during 2020-21, UAE imported 900 million metric tons in terms of volume from several countries. As compared to the previous year, it represents an increase in imports.

●       UAE is one of the biggest destinations of rice export from all over the world because of its rising rice consumption demand among the population. According to stats, rice consumption per capita in UAE reached 56.7 kg in 2017, which was 0.920% more than in the previous years.
